This is sustaining the revival that is happening in Bethel church,Redding.I had been involved in charismatic church in CA , but they did not know this important teaching.Also, they knew in there "head" but not in their "heart." I always thought Bethel people looked special and different.If you want to find the key to become more generous, gracious in God's way than this is the key element that you need to get.I highly recommend this book. You NEED THIS BOOK ! This is great book =).

I first bought this on a whim, it was suggested for me based on other books I was buying. Wow, what a surprise. It opens with an attention getting story: how to deal with an out of marriage pregnancy in a way that brings life instead of judgement? I was surprised and blessed by numerous concepts. It is revolutionary and a breath of fresh wind. I highly recommend this book for anyone in ministry leadership of any kind.
Danny Silk of Bethel Church in Redding, Calif., and Jesus Culture Church in Sacramento has written an intriguing overview of the guiding philosophies of those churches. He describes a church environment that is radically different from any I've been around before, because of its faithful adherence to Scripture. The signs, wonders and miracles Bethel is known for is testimony to this model's effectiveness. I suspect I'll be re-reading this to better understand how to incorporate its principles into my own life and ministry.
Honor is about lifting others to the throne of God so they may be transformed by His majestic power. Church confrontation is usually about proving why I'm right and you're dead wrong and telling you to get back in line.We can use the Scriptures as a weapon or healing balm of the Spirit. This makes for excellent conversation and most of it I can agree with. I definitely recommend this for anyone in church leadership that would rather restore relationships than invoke consequences and know there's something much better than legalism. This book reflects the heart of Jesus.
