About the Author
Jay Blakesberg is a San Francisco based photographer who has published 12 coffee table books of his music photography. He has been photographing the Grateful Dead for 40 years. Josh Baron was with Relix magazine from 2001 to 2013 during which he served as editor-in-chief from 2009 to 2013. Baron co-authored the critically acclaimed Ticket Masters: The Rise of the Concert Industry and How the Public Got Scalped in 2011. He currently helps lead business development for Songkick, the world's largest artist ticketing platform.^ Josh Baron was an editor with Relix and wrote Ticket Masters: The Rise of the Concert Industry and How the Public Got Scalped. He leads business development for Songkick and lives in LA.

Eyes of the World is by far the best photography book on the Grateful Dead. The best way to to enjoy the book is to savor, like a fine meal with an excellent wine. Crank up some live Grateful Dead from each of the eras represented and go in order, slowly, letting the music and the photos interplay over the course of an evening. There is so much to enjoy. Thanks Jay.
Awesome book showcasing the Dead's 30 years as a band (65-95). Great for coffee tables, or to spend an afternoon with a beer flipping through. Lots of history and context behind the photos as well - truly informational. A must-have for Grateful Dead fans.
Great photography
This was purchased as a birthday present for my nephew. He loved it!
The book is exactly as pictured. It came packaged with a clear plastic cover protecting the book. I did not open the book and look through it as it was a gift but the receiver is a very big grateful dead fan and thought it was very cool.
